In this episode, JWil and Lavell read some of their favorite verses found in Proverbs chapter 12. They take an unorthodox approach by randomly picking verses and breaking down the thought behind them in a practical way. The goal is for you to think about these verses in a way that applies to your real life. It's important that we read the Bible, but equally important that we apply it. Imagine having an amazing recipe for Mac and Cheese and leaving out the cheese. You end up with Mac and.
Don't overlook the show opening as JWil talks about the importance of graduating from a consumer to a contributor to or of society.

In this episode, J'Wil admits that he is out of his mind! No, he isn't crazy, but he does present scripture that supports that we should all be out of our minds! The Bible is clear when it comes to the power of our mindset aka the way we think. We should deny ourselves and take on the mind of Christ. JWil shares one of his songs from around 2014 entitled, "No Reputation". The lyrics go in depth in making the case that we should think like Christ if we are to call ourselves Christians. In the "What in the World" segment you'll hear about the angry bird.

In this episode, J'Wil starts off with the Bible and specifically the story of Eve and the serpent. Something that stands out in the story is that Eve wasn't even created at the time that the Lord gave Adam instructions about the fruit. Was is it that the serpent targeted her for a conversation? In addition to that J'Wil discusses the racial and political events that are sweeping our nation. This is a conversation for the mature believer and emotions have to be taken off at the front door. Bring an open Bible and an open mind as he peels back the layers of a complex issue.

This was supposed to be a 15 minute episode for J'Wil to share his thoughts on the state of the world today as it relates to racial injustice. It turned out to be a lot more than expected. The message is about becoming United by Faith (see episode 6) and building a bridge for all Christians. We are one body with many members. If we are one body that means we are one race.
That doesn't change the fact that we live in a fallen world where the color of skin is used to mistreat and manipulate us all in one way or another.
This is not an easy conversation, but it is necessary. May God get the Glory out of all things said and may they be received in love. The sins of this world are not greater than the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. May we accept him as our Savior and turn away from all sin.
